On March 11th, 2004, in Madrid, on the Cercanías trains of the Corredor del Henares, the largest terrorist attack in Europe took place, with 191 killed and thousands injured. Almost all the media, the politicians, the judges… have always maintained that the 11-M attacks were committed by Al Qaeda Islamists. However, no one has uncovered the reasons for that attack, neither the explosive that was used nor the reason for the police, judicial and media cover-up that followed. It's an almost taboo subject in Spain. On the morning of March 11th, the National Police General Information Commission set up a secret team to find out what had happened. Falsehoods leaks interested and threats are the environments where Roberto Alonso, a young police inspector from Pontevedra who is interested in the Madrid attacks, works. One morning, at his mother's house in Alcalá de Henares, a beautiful woman, a police inspector from the secret team, shows up to convince him to drop the investigation. Gradually, the relationship with that woman, Esther Baquero, will become the most important thing in Alonso's life, although he is presented with the dilemma of whether to continue or abandon the work he is doing. Was it really Al Qaeda? Did ETA have anything to do with the attacks? Is it true that some police officers misled the investigation? Different plots, various interests intersect in their way.
