Next 5th November, the European Network of Associations of Victims of Terrorism (NAVT) will be holding a new European Congress in The Hague (Netherlands), supported and funded by the European Commission
The event will be opened by Josée Netten, Impact-Arq’s representative, and then we will have the opportunity to hear the thoughts of victims such as the Dutchman Max Boon, Adrien Abescat from France, Sef Townsend from the U.K. and the Irishman Stephen Travers. There will also be various professionals, including Peter Knoope from the International Centre for Counterterrorism, Maarten van de Donk, representing RAN, Magda Rooze, the director of TERRA, Jo Dover (The Peace Centre, Warrington) and the NAVT’s director, Maria Lozano.
Jozias van Aartsen, Mayor of The Hague, and the Dutch Ministry for Security and Justice representative, Saskia Tempelman, will be attending the event as representatives of the European Commission and the Spanish Interior Ministry.
